Q1. 今絶賛急成長中の乙夏れいさんですが、海外でバズったきっかけを教えてください！

私と3歳の娘れいかちゃんで一緒に「ロリ神レクイエム」を歌っている切り抜き動画が台湾で話題になり、

そこからシングルマザーである事や娘と配信している事が現地のネット掲示板やYahooニュース等で取り上げられたためです。

Q3. 英語もスペイン語も中国語＆台湾語も勉強されている乙夏れいさんですが、最近覚えた単語やお気に入りの単語などがあれば教えてください！

台湾の挨拶として教えていただいた「安安(アンアン)」という言葉です。

“安安”は台湾圏でよく使われるネットスラングで、時間にとらわれない挨拶になります。

なんとなく響きが可愛くてお気に入りです。

 

 

Q4. 初の七五三を迎えたれいかちゃんおめでとうございます！！初の七五三を体験してみて、いかがでしたか？何か特別なことはされましたか？

ありがとうございます！

七五三の衣装を着て、初めてれいかちゃんがお化粧をしたのですが、本人もノリノリでママも大興奮でした、とても可愛かったです。

 

 

Q5. 最近ますます成長して英単語もどんどん覚えているれいかちゃんですが、今後 中国語＆台湾語やスペイン語も覚えたりされる予定はありますか？

れいかちゃんは普段見ているYoutubeからいろんな言語を吸収しているみたいです。

今後は私が配信でファンの国の言葉を喋ってるのを見て、れいかちゃんも真似したり覚えたりしていくかもしれません。

 

 

Q6. 歌枠を中心にご活躍されているお二人ですが、お二人がそれぞれ好きな歌を教えてください！

「れい：アイドル/ YOASOBI」

私が元アイドルのシングルマザーなので「推しの子」に通ずるものがあるとファンの方からも言われます。

そして自分も大好きな曲です。

 

「れいか：Baby Shark」

海外の有名なキッズソングで、いつの間にかダンスと一緒に覚えていました。

 

 

Q7. これからしていきたいことや目標などはありますか？またその理由もお願いします！

世界征服です！これからも世界中の人達と繋がり仲間を増やしていきたいという気持ちがあります。

でも日本人のリスナーさんがまだ少ないので、日本の方にももっと配信に来てもらえるように頑張りたいです。

 

 

Q8. ファンの方に向けてメッセージをお願いします！

夏族(Kazoku)のみんな、いつも応援してくれてありがとう！

れいかちゃんの成長も見守ってほしいし、れいの成長も見ててほしい。

Interview

Q1. Your YouTube channel is rapidly growing, but could you tell me what made you/your content go viral overseas?

A clipped video of me and my 3-year-old daughter, Reika-chan, singing “Divine Purge! Loli God’s Requiem” together got attention in Taiwan.

This led to get featured on local internet thread, Yahoo News, and other platforms about the facts that I’m a single mom and stream with my daughter.

 

 

 

Q2. Do you have any recommended contents of yours？

Q3. Ray-san, you have been studying English, Spanish, Chinese, and Taiwanese, could you please share any recently learned words or your favorite words with us?

The word I was taught as a greeting in Taiwan, “安安” (An An), is a commonly used internet slang in the Taiwanese community.

It means a casual greeting that you can use at anytime. It sounds kinda cute, and it’s my favorite.

 

 

Q4. Congratulations to Reika-chan on celebrating her first Shichi-Go-San! How was the experience of celebrating this special event for the first time? Did you guys do anything special?

*Shichi-Go-San (七五三) is a Japanese traditional celebration of child’s growth.

On November 15th, according to the traditional method of East Asian age reckoning, boys ages of 3 and 5, girls ages of 3 and 7, dress in formal Kimono and visit shrines to offer prayers.

(However, some children wear Western dress instead of Kimono when they photoshoot as well.)

 

Thank you so much!

Reika-chan wore a Shichi-Go-San outfit and put makeup on her for the first time.

She was thrilled and I was also very excited, and she looked so cute.

 

 

Q5. Reika-chan has been growing and learning English words more and more recently. Do you have any plans for her to learn Chinese, Taiwanese, or Spanish in the future？

It seems that Reika-chan learns various languages from watching YouTube videos regularly.

In the future, she would be seeing me speaking the language of my fans during my streams, and she might imitate and learn them as well. 

 

 

Q6. Your main streaming is about singing, Reika-chan also joins you singing. Could each of you tell me a song that you like?

Ray-san’s choice: “idol” by YOASOBI

Since I was a former idol and a single mother, my fans also say that there’s something relatable to the concept of “OSHI NO KO” in my story.

It’s also one of my favorite songs.

 

Reika-chan’s choice: “Baby Shark”

This is a famous song for kids from overseas, and she somehow learned the song with the dance without me even realizing.

 

 

Q7. Do you have anything that you want to do or your future goals? And could you give tell us the reason as well?

World conquest! I would like to continue connecting with people all over the world and becoming friends.

But I don’t have many Japanese viewers, so I’m going to make an effort to attract them to come to my streams.

 

 

Q8. Do you have a message for your fans?

To all the members of my Kazoku (family), thank you always for your support!

I hope you guys can watch over me and Reika-chan’s growth.
